Riad Zitoun: doctor at home and at your riad
From the two Riad Zitoun streets to Bahia Palace, we reach visitors and residents, nights and weekends included.
Two streets bear the name Riad Zitoun: el Kdim, the old one, and el Jdid, the new one, both running south from Jemaa el-Fna. They serve a district that mixes guest riads, family homes, small museums such as the Maison Tiskiwin and, at the far end, Bahia Palace. Scooters and pedestrians share the space. Depending on your address, the doctor comes in from the great square, from the Bahia Palace side or from Place des Ferblantiers, then completes the way on foot.
Helping the doctor find you
- Say whether it is Riad Zitoun el Kdim or el Jdid: the two streets are parallel but separate.
- Give a nearby cultural landmark: Maison Tiskiwin, Bahia Palace, a museum or a gallery.
- Your host can guide the doctor from the top of the street.
When should you call us?
- A traveller with diarrhoea and signs of dehydration
- Acute back pain after a long flight
- A feverish child during the school holidays
- Care or an IV drip prescribed during your stay
