A doctor in the Kasbah district
Boutique riads, family homes and lanes around the Saadian monuments: we cover the whole Kasbah, nights included.
South of the Médina, the Kasbah still bears the mark of the dynasties that built it: Bab Agnaou, the Kasbah Mosque, the Saadian Tombs and, a little further on, the ruins of El Badi Palace. The area attracts many visitors, and plenty of guest riads have opened alongside traditional homes. The Kasbah’s main street is open to traffic, which often makes the last stretch easier. For addresses further in, the doctor continues through the passages.
Helping the doctor find you
- The square in front of Bab Agnaou is an easy meeting point to find.
- Say whether your riad is on the Saadian Tombs side or the El Badi Palace side.
- Let the riad’s receptionist or caretaker know that a doctor is on the way.
When should you call us?
- A traveller with fever and shivering after an excursion in the Atlas
- A sprained ankle on the cobbles
- Heatstroke on a summer afternoon
- An older family member who needs follow-up without going out
