A doctor at your hotel or riad in Marrakech
Tourists, business travellers, hotels: a doctor comes to your room, day and night, in the Médina as well as in Hivernage or the Palmeraie.
You are staying in Marrakech
- Fever, sore throat, ear infection or other infection during your stay
- Stomach upset, diarrhoea or vomiting
- Heat exhaustion, dehydration or sunstroke
- Feeling faint, a fall or a minor injury after an excursion
- A child falling ill on holiday
- Renewing a treatment you forgot or ran out of
You work at reception or the concierge desk
- Call us or message us on WhatsApp on behalf of your guest, day or night.
- Give the name of the property, the room number and the language the patient speaks.
- Arrange for someone to meet the doctor and take them to the room.
- The doctor gives the guest the prescription, the invoice and, if needed, a report for their insurer.
In a riad in the Médina
- Cars cannot enter the derbs (lanes): the doctor covers the last stretch on foot.
- Give the name of the riad, the derb and the nearest gate or square (Jemaa el-Fna, Bab Doukkala, Mouassine, Riad Zitoun…).
- Ask the riad to send someone to wait for the doctor at the nearest point reachable by car.
- Sharing your location on WhatsApp at +212 6 06 32 03 20 saves getting lost in the lanes.
Travel insurance and assistance companies
At the end of the visit, the doctor gives you an invoice and, if necessary, a medical report to send to your travel insurer, your credit card provider or your assistance company. If your assistance company asks you to go through them, give them our number: we arrange the visit with them.
Frequently asked questions
Can you come to a riad in the Médina?
Yes. The doctor parks as close as possible and finishes on foot. Give the name of the riad and ask for someone from the riad to wait at the point reachable by car.
Can I see an English-speaking doctor?
Tell us the patient’s language when you call: our dispatch arranges the visit accordingly.
Can my travel insurance reimburse the visit?
The doctor gives you an invoice and, if needed, a medical report. Reimbursement depends on your policy: keep these documents for your insurer.
Can the hotel call for me?
Yes. Reception or the concierge can contact us on your behalf; just give us the name of the property and your room number.
