Sidi Mimoun: a doctor at your door
In the south-west of the Médina, we visit homes, riads and hotels near the Koutoubia.
Sidi Mimoun stretches along the ramparts in the south-west of the Médina, between the Koutoubia and the surroundings of the Royal Palace. The district combines traditional housing, a few upmarket riads and large hotels on the edge of the old town. The avenues around it are wide, so arriving by car is fairly easy; the inner derbs are then reached on foot. We see as many older residents as visitors here for a few days.
